It is days like this, when the rain is pouring down, that I catch up with chores in the house. I have decided that today will be a good day for looking at insurance quotes because my renewal is due soon. I do like to stick with the same company and have been with State Farm auto insurance for a long time, but the wife likes me to check to make sure they are competitive. They always are but I like to put her mind at rest. Also if I found an equivalent policy for a lot less money than I would try to negotiate a better deal, I have done this with another insurance company in the past. I do not spend too long on this type of task as it would take a significantly lower price with a very well-known company for me to want to change and no one normally comes anywhere close. At least the wife is happy that I have checked and I am always happy that I can still stay with my current insurer and get a great deal. I also find it easier to remember who I am insured with if I do not keep changing the company each year.
