If you suffer from acne and have tried one or more over-the-counter medications but have not had any luck ridding yourself of the condition, you may wish to consider looking at some other Acne treatment products that work well.
You have probably been to your local drugstore and have picked up one of the most popular brand name Acne medication that contains benzoyl peroxide. Many people have good luck with these products, but for those with severe acne, often these creams, lotions and topical solutions simply cannot penetrate deeply enough under the skin’s surface to get to the source of the bacteria that is clogging the pores.
As an alternative, there are some ‘home remedies’ for the treatment of acne that many people have had great luck with. For instance, apple cider vinegar diluted with water can be applied to the affected areas three times a day to absorb the excessive oils from the skin. Tea tree oil dabbed on the acne can also kill the bacteria and promote healing.
In the case that you have severe acne, it is best to seek the help of a dermatologist so that you can be prescribed a strong Acne products and be given powerful topical ointments to stop the outbreak and eliminate the chance of scarring occurring.
