First time meditation
24/04/09
It is similar to exercising, only there are no body movements. To begin you have to prepare yourself
mentally. Start focusing on your mind and spirit. Choose a clean and relaxed place where you can meditate. You can light a candle or incense sticks and also have some relaxation music on.
Some feel fresh flowers on a table right in front of you is inspiring as well. You can also read or recite a few spiritual lines. Concentrate on your movements, and slowly move on and progress towards your breathing. Focus on it, take deep breaths.
With every breath you take in, the positive energy is entering you. Visualize yourself doing this and as you breathe out, all your tensions and frustrations are leaving you. Choose a relaxed chair and sitting position. Most importantly, you must be relaxed at all times both physically and mentally.
